The food is fabulous. They do need more waitresses at the busy times so the food doesn't get cold. Biscuit & gravy it should be sausage gravy. But other then that food is fabulous & prices are awesome. Been going to that Coney Island since 1974 food was awesome then. Place looks awesome love the Super Heroes & the other themes 😘😘😁😀👍👍

Had a coney. Very good. Good hot coffee. Good fast friendly service. Appeared to be a clean restaurant. Many items on menu to choose from. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinners. Drinks. Etc. Menu easy to read.

Last minute decision place to sit down and eat and the wait staff are friendly and the food was good

The customer service was excellent. They had some great steak and eggs also would recommend the hash brown. Also if you want an example of art check their restrooms.

The food was okay but the waitress did not attend to our needs very well. Did not check in on us one time and everything was served in styrofoam trays with plastic silverware like prison.

Terrific workers who go out of their way if needed. Excellent food, casual atmosphere.

The breakfast is good and cheap specials Friendly staff But other then that I don't like the food the chili for the hotdogs isn't very good nachos suck and the quesadilla is alright.

This place is the one I always prefer. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The crew is very cordial and the food they serve is so tasty. I never decline to have a decent dinner here. Highly recommended.

I've never been disapointed by the breakfast of this Coney. I usually order take out and the food is fresh, hot and I never have to wait long. The servers are also very nice. The only reason I don't give this location a 5 star is because when you dine in you notice it's pretty dusty on the decor and windows. A little cleaning would really brighten up the space and create a more enjoyable experience.

I only know 1 item on the menu, because I love the chili cheese fries so much!

Pleasantly surprised by how fun this place really is. You can sit at ur booth and stare at all the drawings Roy has done of many super heros.Food is priced well and is served warm.

I come here often and usually things are fine. Today must be an off day. My server has been a bit rude, food came out wrong (completely understand there will be mistakes) but had hardly any meat on my sandwich. When she brought back my food again, one half had almost no meat, and it is drenched in very watery cole slaw. Im very disappointed :/

Food is good , I just wish it didn’t depend on the server who is there that day to make sure you have a lot of food. Other days if there is a different girl our portions are small. So it’s definitely the waitress on why you have a small portion for the price you paid.

Oh man, best prices around with good food and good customer service. Some of the Best hash browns I've ever had in a breakfast special. Ham was very flavorful and not dry like most places. Ranch is perfection! We love it here.The prices are so good! It helps keeps are budget at a more comfortable level. I'm never let down here and I don't expect the staff to too friendly considering the prices are so low. They are always courteous and respectful to me and everyone when I'm there. I go there at least once a week. The waitresses there have to delete with a ton of vagrant homeless who shouldn't be able to sit around all day taking money and kindness from people who actually get up and go to work instead if drinking or ding drugs all day.. if we stopped giving hand outs they would get off their a$# and go to work wouldn't they!?!?🙄😓

The staff is kind and professional. The food is overrated imo. That's NOT saying it's bad. The food is good. It's just when I came to this area people spoke about the food as if God himself was cooking it. Also I had a worker there talk to me about something that had me VERY uncomfortable and what he was saying would have made anyone not of his race uncomfortable as well. I tried to let him know I didn't share his views but he was too talkative. I really hope no one other than myself and my wife heard him but that made sure I won't be going back.

Best restaurant in Mount Clemens! I have been coming to Gus’ Coney Island for 15 years! The owner is super friendly and has a good heart! My family and I dine in and place carry outs all the time because the food is so delicious! We have never had a bad experience there in all the years we have been going. The service is super fast, prices good and the food great. Keep up the good work!

Its a shame when you order over med eggs and you get slimy over easy ones..wrong kind of toast and timpid food to beat. Shame as i usually love gus' just wont do beakfast with them anymore

Worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. My meal didn’t come, I was only given the side salad that came with it. After 35 min i realized it was never coming, they missed the order completely. Can’t comment on how the food tastes.

The food was ok. No Bleu cheese dressing for my salad. They had that human scum Wendy Williams on the TV and I list my appetite.

Sat down at the counter order two Coney's and small fry... First hot dog I've bit into the bun was slightly hard okay second one what is even harder discounted me will not eat there again.. I would think being a cook and you see somebody sitting down at the counter that what you would try to give them a better Bun...

Just don’t try to get breakfast when they open the cook is usually swearing and it takes 45 minutes to get a meal that takes 5 minutes to make.The females are lovely though friendly attentive Food is usually great it’s just the bs of feeling like your bothering them by placing an order go figure

I had a bad experience a few days before Christmas and had time to mention it on Christmas...I have changed my rating because I gave it a second chance out if convenience as it is by my current job. Their food had always been good enough and still is, it was a long wait on a slow day with my server being more interested in her phone than me... so owner thanks for asking what was wrong , no instead blame the customer... the woman no longer works there and everything had been great.

Normally pretty good but waitresses were not great this time. Watched one drop a box on someones plate while they were eating. Kitchen was over 30min and too slow to get my girlfriend her food before jury duty at court accross the street.

This place is digusting went their yesterday evening orderd a chicken wing dinner and their was a bite taken out of 1 of my chicken wings with the covid runing rapid this is very unsanitary n dangerous . the gross thing is took a bite of it unaware the other side was already biten . so if I contract covid I no where it came from n legal action will be taken .

Steak hoggie was small. Wife ordered grilled ham and cheese. No ham . Waitress was good.

We had to stay in a hotel down the street for a week while my family and I went to our court dates before moving to Georgia. We went everyday for lunch and had our favorite waitress. We tried something different on the menu every time we went. The breakfast plates were especially good. The fish and chips was my second favorite. The coffee was perfect, no too strong and not too weak. I will go there every time I come to My Clemens. The owners greeted and said goodbye every time we went which was very nice to see since people aren't especially friendly in Detriot compared to where we moved from in the South.

Fun place with all the Marvel Heroes and DC characters. Good food too 😉

food was fine, and service was OK... my only complaint/advice would be NOT to use a credit card when paying! I was in there w/my family today 6-17-2020... I paid w/a credit card... I asked the ONLY waitress in there @ the time (around 2) if she could add a few bucks on there for her tip because I had no cash on me..... she told me that it gets added after..... I put $2.00 on it.... she asks if I wanted a receipt.... I replied "oh no, it's fine". I DID NOT, however tell her that I get all that info on my phone.... I go about my day, and check my statement after..... she gave herself a $7 tip!!! NEVER AGAIN! Such a shame too💔 grew up going here, and I will NEVER be back!
